As a building material, wood has fantastic thermal mass value and makes an excellent building material also because of its suitability for different usages. Our walls are not treated with toxic chemicals and they come from sustainable forests, which are required to replant felled trees. We use very little energy in our manufacturing, because of our automated production lines are from year 2008.
The energy that we use at factory comes from our own manufacturing process. This process uses wood waste as an environmentally friendly energy source and that guarantees minimal impact on nature. It’s healthy to live and breath in a Scandinavian home. Scandinavian houses and cottages have healthy and fresh indoor air quality.
Wall structure is not sealed with plastics or chemicals, therefore it breaths and doesn’t provide conditions for microbes, fungus or allergenic dust. During winter your Scandinavian home is comfortably warm and during summer your home will be soothingly cool. In order to ensure the high quality of our products our factory works with the Technical Research Centre of Finland. Laminated solid walls, finger-jointed lumber and gluelam support structures have all been certified by the VTT.
Laminated solid walls combine the traditional building trade with the latest top-notch techniques and production. Using special machinery our factory produces high-quality laminated walls, which allow the creation of most unique construction alternatives. The natural twisting and cracking of the wood has been controlled, and the laminated walls are produced with perfectly precise dimensions.
A number of different corner and joint solutions are available for laminated walls. Sturdy trimmings ensure the efficient grip of seams. Furthermore, we are prepared to carry out any other solutions requiring special skills. In bevelled corner solutions corners may range steplessly from 45 to 90 degrees.
